PHOTOS
(The Old and The Dodgy)

Yes, I love taking photos. I love hamming up for the camera. I'm such a sucker.

But I remember when I was in high school, I still didn't know how to smile properly, and I would look like the biggest geek on earth. I had the whole bad-hair, thick glasses and fashion faux pas thing going on. Then again, doesn't everyone?

Some people say I look exactly like I was when I was a kid. Looking back at those childhood photos however, I am almost convinced I was an ugly kid. But my mum said I was the most adorable thing ever, and somehow that has mostly disappeared. Heh. I don't know. I guess I can see the resemblance, but I think I've changed a lot too. Both physically and emotionally.

Shaped by the passing of time and the bad, good and unforgettable experiences, I've learnt that life isn't always peachy. That nobody's perfect and everyone is bound to disappoint you at some time or other. And even then, that doesn't make them bad people.

Anyhow, I love how pictures always "capture the moment". It's almost like reliving the moment, just without the sound. And they can make laugh or cry, smile or frown. It's scary how they can evoke so much emotions from deep within.

Welcome to my life, darlings. :)
